I chose this lesson because I believe that we all need to be accepting of others, and not judge or push them away because they are different or may be seen as ‘lesser’, because every kindness we do helps make the world a little bit better and gets passed along.
I chose and created this lesson plan because everyone needs to feel represented, especially those in minorities and especially when those minorities are misunderstood and have people prejudiced against their existence.
